Shipping Policy

Shipping is FREE on all orders. Shipping is only available for the lower 48 states. 

Order Confirmation
You will receive an order confirmation email after your order has been placed. This order confirmation email ensures that we have received your order information and have pre-authorized your credit card for your purchase. When we receive your order, we reach out directly to our suppliers to confirm your product is in stock and ready for immediate shipment. If your order is backordered, sold out, or no longer available, we will void the pre-authorization on your credit card and and reach out to you via email to provide the timing and availability of your original product. We can also recommend a similar product if your first selection is no longer available. If your ordered item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charge on your credit card and submit the order for immediate shipment.
 
Order Shipment & Delivery
As soon as we confirm your order is in stock and ready to ship, we will process your credit card and your order will ship within 5 business days from your order. Within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse, we will send you tracking information to the email address you provided during check out. If for some reason you do not receive tracking information within 6 business days from your order, please email us at orders@homesafesusa.com and we will send you your tracking information.

Delivery drivers will call ahead to schedule a delivery window time frame on your delivery date. Delivery drivers are only allocated 30 minutes to complete their delivery. If you confirm a delivery window and are not available for delivery during that time, you will be charged additional Detention Fees from the freight carrier.

Shipping & Delivery Options
Our standard "curbside" delivery is always completely free! Curbside Delivery includes LTL freight shipping, usually on a box truck with a lift gate. Depending on the size of your delivery, the delivery driver will use a pallet jack safely bring your delivery off the truck, onto the lift gate, and to the curbside. Your delivery will arrive "curbside", which is usually at the bottom of the driveway.

After your order is submitted, order processing usually takes 1-2 business days and order shipping usually takes between 5 and 7 business days to arrive curbside.
 
Installation
Home Safes USA does not offer or provide installation of any products. As a courtesy to our customers, we do maintain a list of national installers who may be able to assist with your product installation needs. Please note that while we are happy to offer these installers as suggestions, Home Safes USA does not endorse, guarantee, nor insure the workmanship or service provided by such suggestions.
 
Additional Shipping & Delivery Details
  • Our shipping carriers are not able to deliver on dirt roads.
  • Some remote rural areas, islands, toll bridge access areas, ferry tolls, cul de sacs, etc. may be subject to additional charges since they are considered remote access locations.
  • If your house is in a remote access location and has special delivery needs like requiring a specific type of truck, you will need to notify us when the purchase is made.
  • If additional charges apply your order due to a remote access location, you will be notified before shipping for approval.
  • For remote Access locations please email us at orders@homesafesusa.com so we can provide you with a remote access location quote.

    Damages
    All LTL freight deliveries MUST be inspected for damage at time of delivery. The banding will need to be cut and the box taken off the safe in order for proper inspection. The safe itself should be inspected for any signs of damage, including indentations and friction marks. Any signs of damage MUST be noted on the delivery receipt for any attempt of a discount OR refused for a replacement. YOU MUST NOTIFY HOME SAFES USA AT orders@homesafesusa.com WITHIN 24 HOURS. Please note that the driver cannot leave until the delivery receipt is signed for or the delivery is refused due to damages. Again, DO NOT sign for the shipment until you have thoroughly inspected for any damage. Home Safes USA and its partners is not responsible for shipments that are not signed for as Damaged upon arrival. Occasionally, there may be damage that is not apparent upon receipt of a shipment. Some freight carriers allow up to 15 days from receipt of the shipment to accept claims of concealed damage and others do not. After the allowable time of concealed damage claims has passed, Home Safes USA and its partners cannot assist with freight claims. For this type of damage, a replacement safe is not an option. Any discount will be given if the claim is approved.

    All LTL freight is shipped in an upright position and banded down to a wooden pallet. Any signs of damage or the freight not being delivered in an upright position are justified reasons for the customer to require further inspection of the actual freight itself prior to signing for the delivery. If the damage is minimal and acceptable to the signatory, they are required to make note of the damage on the delivery receipt at time of delivery prior to signing the delivery receipt. Under NO circumstances shall the signatory discard the pallet or packaging material until the safe has been determined to be in good working condition and/or all claim issues have been resolved.

    If your product(s) arrive damaged, please send photos of the damage, box, packaging, SKU, and a detailed description of the damage to orders@homesafesusa.com within 24 hours of delivery and we will attempt to process an insurance claim on your behalf. Photos, videos, and a description of the damage must be sent for freight damage within 24 hours of the product(s) arrival or the freight damage insurance claim will not be valid. Any punctures or visible signs of exterior damage must also be reported within 24 hours of the product(s) arrival.

    Failure to follow the procedures above will remove all liability of damage from Home Safes USA and its partners and require the signatory to file any claims against the freight carrier themselves. Please refer to the individual product page for more information regarding shipping or damage claims.
