The Black Hawk Gun Safe series from Hollon Safe Company provides strength in quality and design. Black Hawk Gun Safes are 30% thicker than the top competitor thanks to the 10 gauge steel walls and additional 1/4" steel plate inside the door. The door itself is 5" thick to prevent pry bar and crow bar attacks.
Every Black Hawk safe is reinforced with up to 16 solid steel bolts 1 1/2" thick- much larger than the industry standard for high-security gun safes. For maximum protection to keep your firearms safe, the locking bolts are located on all four sides of the door.
The high-security vault-style hinges won't sag and are designed to outlast standard gun safe hinges by decades. The Hollon vault-style hinge also provides complete fire coverage of the interior hinge for extra peace of mind.
All Black Hawk Gun Safe have an improved fire rating of 90 minutes at 1,400°F due to the multiple layers of fireboard with each layer sealed, caulked, and filled with fire-resistant caulking. The intumescent door seal expands to 8 times its size when exposed to heat to further prevent fire, smoke, or water damage.
Hollon only uses UL listed Group 2 Sargent and Greenleaf combination locks on their Black Hawk gun safes which can withstand 1,000 Newtons of bolt end pressure to resist side punch attacks. The lock is further protected from drill attacks thanks to the drill and ballistic resistant steel hard plate that comes standard on every Hollon Black Hawk safe. If a thief were to get though the plate by melting it, the dual relocking system secures the door even if no lock is left on the safe.
Luxurious features include a 5-spoke black chrome handle, black chrome trim, and a plush “pillow trim” interior wrapped on all sides to protect your firearms and prevent scratches.
In addition to the luxury interior, all Black Hawk safes come with the motion-activated “Vista Light” LED lighting system which can be battery operated or plugged into the UL listed electrical outlet that features multiple 3-prong outlets and two USB ports. To further increase your storage space, every door features a heavy-duty canvas door organizer to hold handguns and other accessories.
The multi-flex shelving system allows you to customize your interior (including tactical set ups) and the 4 bolt down holes and hardware ensure your safe and firearms stay where they belong.
